The product is intended for thermal protection of three-phase motors and related driven equipment, and the same overload-protection series may also be used with generators, transformers, power supplies, power tools, UPS systems, test instruments and fitness equipment.

The Three Phase Motor Thermal Protector can be matched to 125VAC, 250VAC or 32VDC, with an AC frequency of 50-60Hz. Dielectric strength is 1500VAC/1min, rated switching capacity is three times rated current, and the test ambient is 25°C ±3°C. Beyond those base values, the order should identify the three-phase system voltage, motor rated current, duty cycle, desired protection behavior, reset method and mounting structure.
