Manual-reset Overload Protector

A protection trip that requires a person to intervene before restart is the defining feature of the Manual-reset overload protector. After operation, the equipment can be inspected and the protector is then restored manually. This behavior suits machinery and electrical products where an automatic restart is not desired, including motors, generators, transformers, power supplies, instruments, extension leads, power tools, UPS units, exercise equipment and food-processing machines. The finished design must leave physical access to the reset control.

The electrical reference set for the Manual-reset overload protector is 125VAC, 250VAC or 32VDC; AC versions operate at 50-60Hz. The withstand-voltage requirement is 1500VAC for one minute, switching capacity is specified as three times rated current, and testing is referenced at 25°C ±3°C. Rated current, terminal geometry, mounting holes and reset-button clearance still need to be finalized from the customer drawing or an actual sample.

Overload bimetal production and protector assembly are both available at Gan'en Electronics. That makes it possible to check a proposed reset structure against an existing machine before the lot is released. Monthly overload-protector capacity is 4 million units. OEM, ODM and prototype-based orders are accepted. A regular order starts at 10,000 pcs; standard supply normally takes about 7 days, custom supply about 15 days, and ordinary samples are provided free apart from express freight.

Quality records for a Manual-reset overload protector order are built at multiple points rather than only at final packing: incoming material, in-process work, semi-finished/finished units and shipment are checked separately, followed by a complete pack-out inspection. Third-party verification is possible. A 30-day warranty applies, and transport damage such as bent terminals or a distorted housing can be investigated from photographs, the waybill, model reference and manufacturing lot.
