Bimetal Disc Temperature Switch

Compact layouts often leave little room to turn a wire harness or move a thermostat after other parts are installed. The bimetal disc temperature switch addresses that constraint with the KSD-301 Bakelite body, straight tabs and a movable ring. The tabs provide a direct electrical interface; the ring can be rotated to suit the final fixing direction. The source lists kettles, dispensers, pressure cookers, microwave ovens and electric water heaters as representative uses.

For a bimetal disc temperature switch order, select 10A or 16A at 250VAC, then choose the required operating point between 40°C and 150°C in 5°C steps. Accuracy can be specified at ±3°C, ±5°C or ±10°C. Dielectric strength is AC2500V/S under the stated test conditions. Mechanical verification is equally important in a small enclosure: confirm tab length, harness path, ring orientation and the way the sensing surface meets the heated part.

A customer can send Gan'en Electronics a drawing or actual assembly so the compact structure is checked before production. The factory supports OEM/ODM, special structures and prototype-based manufacture, with bimetal processing, thermostat assembly and testing available internally. Standard samples have no sample charge, while shipping is separate. MOQ is normally 10,000 pcs; regular specifications are usually produced in about 7 days and custom versions in about 15 days.

Approved versions of the bimetal disc temperature switch can be tracked by temperature code and ring arrangement from sample stage through repeat orders. Manufacturing status may be shared with photos or video. Material receipt, production, semi-finished/final units and outgoing lots are inspected under separate controls, followed by a complete packing inspection. Independent inspection is accepted, and unprinted cartons are available for customers using their own downstream packaging.
