Ceramic Thermostat

The Ceramic thermostat is the fixed-ring, straight-terminal KSD-301T option for projects that need ceramic insulation and a wider temperature window. Its mounting ring defines the sensing position, while the straight tabs suit conventional wiring. The source identifies pressure cookers, microwave ovens, electric water heaters and electric kettles as representative applications.

Specification choices for the Ceramic thermostat are 10A or 16A at 250VAC; 40-260°C operating temperature in 5°C steps; ±3°C, ±5°C or ±10°C accuracy; and AC2500V/S dielectric strength. A selected trip point should be checked at the real sensing location because normal equipment temperature, the desired cut-off level and heat transfer through the mounting area all affect final behavior.
