Circular Thermostatic Bimetal Element

The Circular thermostatic bimetal element is a round actuating piece used mainly inside electric-kettle thermostats. Its task is to convert a defined thermal condition into movement for the surrounding mechanism. Since the disc does not contain the complete switching system, correct performance depends on how it sits against the support, contact set, housing and fixing structure. A temperature number by itself is therefore not enough to approve a replacement disc.

For the Circular thermostatic bimetal element, the available operating range is 40-100°C and the reset range is 0-60°C; temperature tolerance is ±5°C. Corrosion verification may use a 24-, 48- or 72-hour salt-spray requirement. Diameter, thickness, curvature and installation direction are customer-specific items rather than fixed catalog dimensions. They should be taken from a drawing or physical sample and checked in a complete thermostat assembly.

OEM/ODM work and drawing- or prototype-based manufacturing are supported. Approved geometry and temperature data for the Circular thermostatic bimetal element can be archived with the sample so repeat lots follow the same reference.
